  • How to install the plugin in a few easy steps

    Click here to view our quick installation tutorial, or simply follow the steps below:

    1. Click on this link to go to the Storyblocks Plugin on Adobe Exchange.

    2. Download the plugin by clicking the button that says “Install Now” if you are logged into Creative Cloud or “Free” if you are not logged in. A Creative Cloud account is required to download Adobe Exchange plugins.

    3. When prompted, click “Open Creative Cloud Desktop App” to open the Creative Cloud desktop app.

    4. In the Creative Cloud app, click “Install” for our Storyblocks plugin. You may need to close Premiere Pro and/or After Effects if you have either editor open to proceed with the installation.

    5. After successfully installing the plugin, you will need to activate it in both editors. First, open a new or existing project in Premiere Pro.

    6. Navigate to Window > Extensions > Storyblocks. Login with your credentials, and the plugin will be activated in Premiere Pro.

    7. Now, open After Effects, and repeat Steps 5-6 to activate the plugin there as well. You’re all set!

    Please note: The plugin is compatible with Adobe Premiere Pro versions 15.0 or higher, and Adobe After Effects versions 15.0 or higher.

    • To access the plugin once installed, open Premiere Pro or After Effects. Go to Window > Extensions > Storyblocks. Login with your credentials to access the plugin.

    • We recommend docking the Storyblocks panel into your workspace once open for the best experience!

    To manually update the plugin, check out this quick tutorial or follow the steps below:

    1. Navigate to the Adobe Exchange page for the Storyblocks Plugin for Adobe Creative Cloud.

    2. Click on “Manage” if you already have the Storyblocks plugin installed. This will open up your Creative Cloud app.

    3. In Creative Cloud, click on “Update” for the Storyblocks plugin. You may be prompted to close Premiere Pro or After Effects first, if you have either editor open.

    4. Once updated, open up a project in Premiere Pro or After Effects, log into Storyblocks, and access the latest version of the plugin.
